EPFO’s launched @
e-Court Management System
EPFO e-court
Management System has been launched which is in tune with the vision of the
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of digital India. The objective of
the project is a transparent and electronic case management system which will
cater to aspirations of all stakeholders – the employers, the employees,
litigants and CBT. It is a step towards paperless court system wherein court
procedure of EPF & MP Act, 1952 and EPFAT will take place in a digital
environment.
Features
1. This will be a
step towards paperless court system, wherein all the quasi-judicial proceedings
under the Employees Provident Funds and Misc. Provisions Act, 1952 as well as
court procedure of EPFAT will take place in a digital environment.
2. Online Filing:
means Litigant employers/employees can file cases directly from their place of
convenience. They can also file supplementary records/statements online.
3. SMS Facility:
Messages will be sent to the litigants on their registered mobile numbers on
the status of their cases.
4. Dynamic Website:
The stakeholders can also track their individual cases online. Orders and
Judgments are available in digital form.
5. e-courts : The
employers or its representative need not carry documents for representing their
case or filing their replies as the documents of a case as these can be
accessed easily from anywhere at any time.
6. The
quasi-judicial officers of CBT can also enter notes and pass various orders
under the various proceedings of the EPF & MP Act digitally.
7. In e-court
project, the entire information related to a particular case under the EPF and
MP Act, 1952 would be available online to the Quasi-judicial officers of EPFO,
parties and all the concerned through internet.
8. E-court would
help in the digitization of work flow management in Quasi-judicial proceedings.
The information in respect of cases cannot be misplaced as all the information
regarding the case will be maintained at Servers. Thus, it would help to create
a better and transparent court and case management in EPFO.
