UGC Public Notice reg.: Draft UGC Online Education Regulations,
2017

University Grants Commission (UGC) has
drafted University Grants Commission (Online Education) Regulations, 2017.
These draft Regulations are attached along with for seeking feedback comments
from general public/stakeholders.
It is requested to send your
feedback/comments on the above draft Regulations to UGC by email on ugc.online20l7@gmail.com
before 18th August, 2017
Once the regulations are in place,
students and working professionals will be able to obtain a degree online,
recognised by the UGC. Institutes will be able to offer online degrees in all
fields, except engineering, medicine, dental, pharmacy, nursing, architecture
and physiotherapy.
